from a Windows-based programming environment. Clickatell's COM Object API is simple to integrate and connects your application to
our award-winning SMS Gateway. 2-way messaging is not a feature of Clickatell's COM Object but our other products such as the
HTTP, SMTP and SMPP API's are available for your incoming mail.

When using the COM Object, Clickatell offers a text message escalation option. If text messages are delayed for a
client specified time, they will be escalated for delivery through alternative gateways. Customers can also set up
queuing options with three priority levels of text message delivery. And Clickatell offers a delayed delivery
option of up to 7 days. If using the delayed delivery option, customers can also send stop or delete messages to cancel delivery of SMS text messages.
COM Object offers security and customer control:

encryption on outbound SMS text messages. There are levels of customer control enabled with options
for queries re network coverage, the status of text message delivery and account balances. Customer
using Clickatell's COM Object API can also specify maximum credit charges.
COM Object is a versatile application:
Customers can send text messages in batches with personalised messages. This allows high volume bulk
SMS sending. The COM Object API also enables Token Pay options. Update the credits via a payment token; this then
redeems the credit value of the token or voucher, into the authenticated account.

How to connect using COM Object:
- Sign up for an account and you will be given a username, password and api_id: keep these at hand.
- Log into your account, go to Manage My Products, and then click on the Add sub-product link to add COM Object.
- Once you have successfully filled out the form you will be supplied with your authentication details.
